As the new year begins, it's the perfect time to reinvent your fashion choices and explore new trends. Spring/Summer 2024 brings the concept of "New Year, New You" and trying new looks is rooted in the idea of personal growth and transformation. It's very common to set resolutions or goals at the start of the new year, and one aspect that often comes up is improving or experimenting with one's personal style. Look for brands that prioritize ethical production/fair trade, use sustainable materials/fabrics and promote recycling such as we do and love with our thrift/vintage department, we find some of the best style and quality items. By opting for environmentally conscious fashion choices, you can feel good about your style while also making a positive impact on the planet and we're all about that life! 2. Tech-Inspired Fashion
In 2024, technology continues to influence fashion with designs that incorporate futuristic elements. Look out for garments made with smart materials/fabrics, such as those that regulate body temperature or have built-in wearable technology features. This one is always a plus, when you top off your look with that perfect accessory, the one thing I will indulge in this year, because I want to do so more than I have in the past. When you complete a look with the proper accessory it will demand attention. Oversized sunglasses or just some cool glasses that really look good on YOU and make a statement with your wardrobe can really be the rage, along with chunky chain necklaces, lots of chains, and bold handbags. These eye-catching accessories can transform even the simplest outfit into a fashion-forward ensemble, allowing you to express your individuality and stand out from the crowd. 4. Artistic Prints and Patterns

I find more often than others, prints and patterns is an area in fashion where one may be a little more apprehensive to try, but you'll be highly surprised of what that small change can do for you in a positive way. 5. Unexpected Layering
Something that I love to see but hardly ever do is layering. I promised myself this will be the year that I will explore more in layering with my wardrobe. Layering definitely isn't just for the colder months anymore. This spring/summer experiment with unexpected layering techniques to add depth and dimension to your outfits. Try pairing a sheer top with a structured blazer or layering a dress over a tailored pants with a cropped blazer. This year choose fashion forward, just go for it!
